Chicken Comb (or better know as chicken crowns) are one of the best kept secrets to canine joint health. Why you may ask? Chicken crowns are made up of collagen fibers in the form of protein bundles. Located in the middle portion of the chicken crown is a mucoid substance called hyaluronic acid (HA). HA has been used for years in Veterinary and Human medicine to support Joint & Cartilage health.

Some other benefits of Hyaluronic Acid include,
1) Regeneration of Connective Tissue
HA assist in the formation of new connective tissue. In essence, HA is a single molecule, which attaches to hundreds of other structural protein molecules (proteoglycans) that aids in healthy connective tissue throughout the (ECM).

2) Rejuvenation of Tissue & Hair Follicles
Hyaluronic acid nourishes and hydrates the deep layers of the dermis, leaving your pups hair healthy and lustrous.

3) Natural Antioxidant
Protects against oxidative cell damage and nourishes the cells with nutrients, along with filtering toxins out of the cellular system and bloodstream.

4) Wound Healing
Aids in the formation of granulation tissue and microscopic blood vessels, which promotes wound healing from the base of a wound to the surface.
