These symptoms usually develop within a few hours of consumption. If you notice any of these symptoms - please contact your veterinarian for advice and also let us know.

Marigolds contain antioxidants that can help support a dog's immune system. They may have anti-inflammatory properties, which could be beneficial for dogs with conditions like arthritis. Some believe marigolds have natural insect-repelling properties, although more research is needed in this area.

Dandelion leaves are rich in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C, and K, as well as calcium, iron, and potassium. They can act as a natural diuretic, helping to promote healthy kidney function and urinary tract health in dogs. Dandelion leaves may also support liver health by aiding in the detoxification process.

Blue cornflower petals contain antioxidants. These compounds can help neutralize harmful free radicals in the body, potentially reducing inflammation and supporting overall health.

Rose petals are high in vitamin C and antioxidants, which can support a dog's immune system and overall health. Some believe that rose petals may have mild calming properties, which could be beneficial for anxious or stressed dogs. Additionally, the aroma of roses may have aromatherapeutic benefits, promoting relaxation and well-being in dogs.

Chamomile has natural calming properties and is often used to soothe nervousness, anxiety, or digestive upset in dogs. It may help alleviate symptoms of gastrointestinal issues such as upset stomach, gas, and diarrhea. Chamomile is also thought to have anti-inflammatory properties, which could benefit dogs with conditions like arthritis or skin irritation.

Determining the appropriate dosage of mixed flowers for dogs by weight can be challenging as it depends on various factors, including the size, age, and health status of the dog, as well as the specific flowers being used and their intended purpose (e.g., dietary supplement, herbal remedy).

It's crucial to consult with a veterinarian before adding mixed flowers or any new ingredients to your dog's diet. A veterinarian can provide personalized recommendations based on your dog's individual needs and health status. They may also advise on safe dosages and potential interactions with any medications your dog may be taking.

In general, when introducing mixed flowers to a dog's diet, start with small quantities and observe for any adverse reactions. Monitor your dog's response closely and gradually increase the amount if well-tolerated.

Here are some general guidelines for introducing mixed flowers to dogs based on weight:

Small Dogs (up to 20 lbs):

Start with a very small amount, such as a pinch or a few petals.

Monitor for any signs of digestive upset or allergic reactions.

Gradually increase the amount if well-tolerated, following veterinary guidance.

Medium Dogs (20-50 lbs):

Start with a small amount, such as a teaspoon or a small handful.

Monitor for any adverse reactions and adjust the dosage as needed.

Large Dogs (50+ lbs):

Begin with a moderate amount, such as a tablespoon or a larger handful. Observe your dog's response closely and make adjustments as necessary.

Veterinary guidance is essential for ensuring safe and appropriate dosages.

Remember that individual dogs may have varying sensitivities and tolerances to different ingredients, so it's essential to proceed with caution and seek professional advice when introducing new foods or herbs to your dog's diet.

Please note that our mix contains calendula (marigolds) which is safe for cats - however, it's essential to exercise caution and consult with a veterinarian before using calendula products on your cat or offering them for ingestion.
